Fernando Duarte

Fernando Duarte has extensive experience in legal counsel and contract management across various regions and industries. Notably, Fernando served as Senior Legal Counsel for the Northern Middle East Region at Schlumberger from July 2019 to July 2020, overseeing legal operations across Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, and the East Mediterranean. Prior roles include Senior Contracts Manager for the Middle East and North Africa, Legal Counsel for Latin America South Geomarket, and Regional Legal Counsel at Cameron, where responsibilities encompassed Brazil and South America. Additional experience includes positions at Subsea7, Baker Hughes, and a current role as General Counsel MENA for SLB, leading a team of 20 legal professionals and managing compliance programs globally. Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, completed in 2007.
