Kent Harms is a Principal Engineer and Program Manager at Schlumberger since July 2001, specializing in geosteering and the development of innovative drilling technologies. Key responsibilities include managing the Geosteering 4.0 Program and leading projects in Logging While Drilling (LWD) and Formation Sampling While Drilling (SWD) technologies, as well as contributing to the design of advanced downhole tools. Prior to Schlumberger, Kent served as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, where research contributed to an international patent pending in nondestructive evaluation techniques. Kent holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
