Victor Opokin, PhD, has extensive experience in human resources, beginning as a Recruiter for Schlumberger in Russia, where Victor conducted over 1000 interviews annually and managed university relations. Progressing to Senior Transactions Administrator, responsibilities included personnel database management and international staff support. As Manufacturing & Cameron HR Manager, Victor developed HR strategies for manufacturing centers and integrated personnel following acquisitions. Notably, experience as Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst covered comprehensive reviews across the Middle East, and roles as HR Services Manager and Country HR Manager in Kuwait involved managing extensive HR teams and implementing strategic projects. Currently, Victor serves as HR Spoke Manager at SLB, overseeing HR functions across the Middle East and North Africa, having earned a PhD in Economic Sociology and a diploma in Human Resource Management from St. Petersburg State University.
