Martin Chmiel

Martin Chmiel serves as the Director of Derivatives Operations at SLC Management since June 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing derivative operational processes within a global institutional asset management firm. Prior to this position, Martin held various roles at Sun Life Financial from October 2000 to June 2019, including Manager of Derivative Operations, Senior Derivatives Analyst, and Intermediate Accounting Analyst, gaining extensive experience in back-office operations, accounting, and reporting for derivatives. Martin began a career in finance and technology as a Technology Co-Op Student at Sun Life and holds a BA in Economics and Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University, along with a BS in Computer Science from the University of Windsor.
