Christian Zollner has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2012 as an Undergraduate Researcher at New Mexico State University, where they published research on oxide materials and presented their findings at various conferences. In 2014, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Cornell University, focusing on fabrication and measurement of thin film samples. From 2015 to 2016, they interned at UC Santa Barbara, optimizing synthesis processes for oxide materials and gaining experience in characterization techniques. Christian then pursued a PhD at UC Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2022, where they worked on developing deep ultraviolet LED technology. Christian Zollner's most recent position is as a Senior Process Development Engineer at KYOCERA SLD Laser, starting in 2022.

Christian Zollner pursued their education in the field of Materials. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Cornell University for Engineering Physics. Christian then enrolled at UC Santa Barbara in 2016 and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials in 2021.
