Jon Lacey

Jon Lacey has a diverse work experience in the field of epitaxy and engineering. Jon currently works at SLD Laser as an Epi Process Engineer starting from September 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Soraa as a Sr. Epi Process Engineer from May 2014 to August 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked at JDSU as an Epitaxial Engineer from October 2008 to October 2013, where they also served as a Solar Program Manager. In this role, they developed high-efficiency solar cells and managed international contract manufacturers. Before JDSU, they worked at Spectrolab as an Epitaxial Engineering Manager from June 2001 to October 2008, where they focused on increasing yields and improving solar cell performance. Jon also worked as an MOCVD Process Engineer at Spectrolab from August 1997 to June 2001.

Jon Lacey pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, starting in 1993 and completing their studies in 1997.
