Kate Ferris has a total of three work experiences.
Kate started their most recent role in January 2022 at Sledgehammer Games as a Senior Associate Rendering Engineer.
Before that, they worked at Wicked Witch Software from July 2019 to September 2021. Initially, they held the position of junior programmer and later progressed to mid-level programmer. Their main areas of focus were graphics, performance improvement, and tools development. Kate collaborated with the project lead on a revised sprite system and introduced visibility culling for terrain and centralized task processing for low-level systems.
Their first job was at Big Ant Studios from February 2019 to May 2019, where they worked as a junior programmer specializing in graphics. Although it wasn't a successful experience, they contributed to the implementation of circular-convolution depth-of-field in Cricket 2019 and helped reduce memory usage by approximately 25% through runtime compression using DX11 compute.
Kate Ferris attended the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) RTO 88021, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Games and Programming Skills. However, the start and end years of their education remain unknown.
