Michael Prestia

Technical Director at Sledgehammer Games

Michael Prestia has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Michael started their career in 2006 as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Simulation and Training, where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined AMD as a Student Intern. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at 360Ed, Inc., where they contributed to the development of educational video games. In 2011, they joined Electronic Arts as a Software Engineer and worked until 2016. Since then, they have been a part of Sledgehammer Games, starting as a Senior Gameplay Engineer (Multiplayer) and progressing to Lead Multiplayer Gameplay Engineer, Lead Engineer, Senior Lead Engineer, Director of Gameplay Engineering, and currently serving as the Technical Director.

Michael Prestia completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida from 2004 to 2008. Michael then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Interactive Entertainment from the same university from 2008 to 2009.
