Ned Curwood-Hyde

Animator at Sledgehammer Games

Ned Curwood-Hyde has a diverse range of work experience in the animation industry. Ned started their career as an Assistant Animator at Oh Yeah Wow in 2015 and then worked as a Storyboard Artist at OZPIX Entertainment for a short period. In 2014, they joined Feather Films as an Animator.

From 2017 to 2022, Curwood-Hyde worked as a Freelance Animator/Illustrator, showcasing their skills as a self-employed professional. During this period, they also worked as a Character Animator at BES Animation from September 2017 to March 2018 and at 12field Animation from October 2018 to May 2019.

In 2019, they joined Big Ant Studios as an Animator, where they worked until December 2020. In 2021, they started working as an Animator at Sledgehammer Games and also took on the role of Sessional Lecturer at RMIT University from July 2021 to June 2022.

Ned Curwood-Hyde completed their education in a chronological order. In 2012, they attended Qantm College where they obtained a Diploma of Screen and Media with a focus on Animation. Continuing their education, from 2014 to 2016, they enrolled at RMIT University and earned a Bachelor of Design specializing in Animation and Interactive Media. Finally, in the year 2017 to 2018, Ned attended CG Spectrum, where they received an Advanced Diploma of 3D Animation, specifically focusing on Character & Creature Animation. Notably, Ned was awarded a scholarship for their studies at CG Spectrum.
