Before that, Rae was a Mid Tech Programmer at 2K Australia, where they worked on bug fixing in various systems of UE3 and focused on performance and memory automated testing for games like Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Bioshock Infinite. Rae started their career as a Games Programmer at Mere Mortals, where they worked on tasks such as bug fixing, TRC, and localisation before transitioning to a role as an Engine Programmer. Rae graduated from Northumbria University with a BSc in Computer Games Software Engineering in 2008.
