Derrick Tyler

Derrick Tyler serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Sleeping Dog Properties, Inc. since May 2003, focusing on fostering a positive and productive work environment through mentorship and hands-on teaching, while managing day-to-day operations, contract systems, and financial controls. Previously, Derrick held the position of Design Director at a design/build company, overseeing design processes, contract negotiations, estimating, and project management. Additionally, Derrick was the President of Six One Seven Design, LLC from April 2008 to December 2010, focusing on green architecture and creating unique environments for clients. Derrick began a career in architecture as a designer at RDK Architects and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
