Emily Mertz is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the insurance and media industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at Slice Labs since April 2016, Emily is recognized as an Insurance Marketing & Communications Association Award winner and a RGD Design Award winner. Previous roles include Managing Director of Marketing at Forbes from November 2017 to March 2021, where Emily was an official member of the Forbes Communications Council, and various marketing positions at StoneRiver, Inc. from March 2011 to March 2016, culminating as Director of Marketing. Early career includes a role as Marketing Consultant at Training Express from July 2009 to August 2010. Emily holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Colorado College, earned between 1999 and 2003.
