Abdalla Bani has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2010 as a Student Assistant for the Office of International Affairs at Missouri S&T. In 2013, they were a Student Assistant for the NASA/Missouri Space Grant Consortium, as well as a Lead Graduate Assistant and Instructor at Missouri University of Science and Technology. During this time, they developed and delivered instructional and interactive learning material for a comprehensive engineering crash-course in the basics of aerospace engineering for more than 230 high-school level students from all over the U.S. In 2013, they also co-founded The Orion Fund. In 2017, they joined Missouri University of Science and Technology as a Space Systems Engineering Laboratory. In 2019, they became a Project Lead at Sling Health and a Consultant Team Lead at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis as a Graduate Research Assistant.
Abdalla Bani has a diverse educational background. Abdalla began their studies in 2009, when they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Abdalla then went on to earn a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2016. In 2018, Bani earned a Master of Science in Data Analytics and Statistics from Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Imaging Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
