João Ventura -

João Ventura's work experience includes founding Sling Hub in 2018 and serving as its Founder. João also worked as a Board Member at Gávea Angels from 2017 to the present, holding the role of President from 2017 to 2020. João served as a Board Member and then CEO at Trópica Brewing Co. from 2015 to the present. João has been a Member at Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs since 2019. In addition, João worked as a Consultant at Instituto Gênese PUC-Rio from 2018 to 2020 and as a Mentor at Founder Institute from 2017 to 2020. João was also a Mentor at InovAtiva Brasil from 2017 to 2018 and served as the Curator of Bett Educar Startups Space at Bett Educar in 2018. Prior to these roles, João held positions such as Head of Structured Products at Akro DTVM from 2010 to 2015 and Senior Analyst at Oliveira Trust from 2005 to 2010.

João Ventura has a diverse education history. In 2020, they completed a design program in User Interface Design at UC Berkeley Extension. In 2017, they attended Stanford Continuing Studies. In 2008, they earned an LLM degree from Ibmec, with a focus on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in 2006. Additionally, they took a business administration course at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004. João Ventura also holds certifications in CPA 20 from ANBIMA - Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association, Google Adwords (Display Network) from Google, and Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
