Sumit Chandra

Sumit Chandra has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. Sumit began their career as a Data Science + Research Intern at the Center for Connected Learning @ Northwestern University. In 2020, they began working as a Creator Services Intern at Q&A, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California, and an A&R at Hitco Entertainment. In 2021, they became the Head of A&R at Slingshot and the Director of Professional Development & Special Events at the USC Concerts Committee. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading sponsorship opportunities, professional development workshops, planning social events and panels, and assisting members in finding industry jobs. Additionally, they have employed qualitative and quantitative methods to find sought-after talent and present it to staff.

Sumit Chandra began their educational journey in 2016 when they attended Phillips Exeter Academy. In 2017, they participated in the MIT Launch program, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In 2019, they graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Arts, Technology and The Business of Innovation. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Data Science at the University of Southern California, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
