David Sentongo

David Sentongo has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. David started their career as an IT Manager at Sokoni Africa Ltd in January 2015, where they analyzed and resolved software/hardware networking issues, conducted troubleshooting, and documented system events. David then joined PHEPHI SERVICES INC as a Systems Administrator in November 2019, where they maintained the network security program, provided appropriate permissions to users, and reviewed ongoing threats. In May 2022, they transitioned to Mass General Brigham as an IS support Desktop Tech, where they provided desktop support until March 2023. In December 2022, they took on the role of a Consultant at Editas Medicine and an Onsite Deskside Engineer at Slipstream IT.

David Sentongo started their education in 2009 at Uganda Christian University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. David completed their degree in 2012, specializing in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Afterward, they attended Makerere University from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master of Information Technology degree with a focus on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Recently, in 2021, David enrolled in New York University to further their education in cybersecurity, pursuing a professional degree in that field, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
