John Lauer

John Lauer has had a diverse work experience over several decades. John started their career as a Design Engineer at Mead Fluid Dynamics in 1983, and then transitioned to Sloan Valve Company in 1984. At Sloan Valve Company, they held various positions including Product Design and Applications Engineer, Director/Manager of Technical Support Services, Director of International Business Development, General Manager of China Operations, and finally, Director of Sales - Western Region. John had a long tenure at Sloan Valve Company, with their roles involving responsibilities such as managing technical customer service, product approvals, technical sales support, and representing the company in Codes, Standards, and regulatory activities.

John Lauer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Product Design & Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 1979 to 1983. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Business from Roosevelt University, spanning from 1987 to 1990.
