Anka Asandei

Anka Asandei, PhD, is a Senior Scientific Officer at Slough Borough Council since February 2015, focusing on environmental science initiatives. Prior to this role, Anka worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Exeter from October 2010 to September 2014, where research concentrated on the effects of global warming and nutrient availability on soil carbon stocks. Anka earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Soil Sciences from the University of Exeter between 2010 and 2013, a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Diagnosis and Management from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2008, and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection from ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ University in Iasi, Romania, completed in 2007.
