Laura Robertson, MPH CEnvH, is an experienced public health and environmental health professional, currently serving as the Head of Public Protection at Slough Borough Council since September 2024. Previously, Laura held the position of Emergency Response Lead in Health Protection at Hertfordshire County Council, where responsibilities included strategic planning post-COVID and leading COVID-19 inquiry preparations. Laura's background includes serving as the Covid Outbreak Response Lead at NHS Professionals and a Strategic Lead for Transformation and Innovation in Children's Services at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Laura's career began as an Environmental Health Officer at the London Borough of Barnet, with subsequent roles at Westminster City Council focusing on community protection and environmental health management. Laura holds a BSc in Environmental Health from the University of the West of England, an MSc in Public Health from the University of Bedfordshire, and various qualifications in management and environmental health.
