Peter Kopúň

Head Coach Women National Team at Slovak Football Association

Peter Kopúň has a diverse work experience in the field of soccer coaching. Peter began their career as a Soccer Head coach for ISKRA Bratislava in 2005 and then moved on to SKP Dubravka Bratislava in 2006, where they held the same position until 2009. Peter then joined FC Petrzalka 1898, Bratislava as a Soccer Head coach from 2009 to 2014. In 2013, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Comenius University. In 2014, they became the Soccer Head Coach at ŠK Senec, a position they held until 2016. From 2015 to 2018, they worked with the Slovak Football Association, first as a Soccer Coach Education Coordinator and later as the Assistant Coach of the Slovak National Women Football Team. In 2018, they became the Head Coach of the Women National Team.

Peter Kopúň attended Comenius University at Bratislava from 2010 to 2013. Peter obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Their area of specialization was in Sport Coaching.
