Lisa Kathman, CCC-SLP has over 20 years of experience in the field of Speech Language Pathology. Lisa began their career in 1999 as a Speech Language Pathologist for Richards Healthcare (Virgin Islands Department of Education) where they evaluated and treated pre-school children in daycares, preschools, and Head Starts on the island of St. Croix. In 2000, they worked for Therapy Rehabilitation Inc as a Speech Language Pathologist. In 2001, they were a Speech Language Pathologist for Santa Rosa City Schools in California. From 2002 to 2003, they were self-employed as a Speech Language Pathologist. From 2003 to 2007, they worked for Therapy Rehabilitation Inc and from 2007 to 2004, they worked for Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy as a Speech Language Pathologist. From 2004 to 2018, they worked for Mesa Public Schools as a Content Specialist for Speech-Language Pathology and Lead SLP, K-12. In 2018, they became an Adjunct Faculty for Estrella Mountain Community College and Co-Founder of Bright Ideas Media, an ASHA approved continuing education provider. Lisa is also the Co-Founder and CRO of SLP Toolkit, a web-based app with built in assessments and tools designed to help Speech Language Pathologists collect data to determine communication strengths and needs.

Lisa Kathman, CCC-SLP obtained their Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Lisa received their B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University in 1994 and their M.S. in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University in 1997.
