Ian Southwell

Ian Southwell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transport planning and management. Currently serving as Senior Technical Discipline Manager at SLR Consulting since April 2022, Ian previously held the position of Director at Vectos, a leading independent transport planning and infrastructure design firm, from October 2011 to March 2022. Ian's career also includes various roles at Savell Bird and Axon as a Senior Transport Planner from July 2007 to September 2011, and earlier experience as an English Language Teacher in Japan. Ian earned a BA (Hons) in Urban Studies and Planning from The University of Sheffield between 1998 and 2001.
