John Trehy

John Trehy serves as the Technical Discipline Manager at SLR Consulting since January 2024, following a distinguished tenure at Terence O'Rourke from March 2004 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading the Heritage team and providing strategic advice on heritage issues. Trehy has extensive experience in assessing the impact of development on archaeological resources and managing site investigations related to planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments. Earlier roles included Project Archaeologist at Cork City Council and an Archaeology Assistant with Valerie Keeley. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology & Prehistory from The University of Sheffield and a Certificate in Introduction to Irish Archaeology from University College Cork.
