Tim Baker

Tim Baker is a seasoned professional in hydrology and hydrogeology with extensive experience in water resources management. Currently serving as the Technical Discipline Manager for Hydrology and Hydrogeology at SLR Consulting since June 2021, Tim has also held the role of Principal Consultant and Wellington Office Manager. Prior to this, Tim spent over eight years at Jacobs, progressing from Senior Hydrogeologist to Senior Associate Hydrogeologist and Team Leader in various capacities. Additional experience includes positions at Sinclair Knight Merz as a Senior Hydrogeologist, CH2M HILL as a Hydrogeologist, and the Greater Wellington Regional Council as an Environmental Scientist focused on groundwater. Tim holds a Master of Science with honors in Physical Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
