Michael Coon

Michael Coon, CSP, CIT, serves as the Global Health & Safety Director at SLR Consulting since April 2021, previously holding the position of Health & Safety Manager for the U.S. Michael's extensive career includes roles such as Regional EHS&S Manager at SUEZ, where responsibilities focused on Environmental Services and Advanced Solutions, and Northeast Area Health & Safety Professional at CH2M, emphasizing health and safety training and program implementation in the Northeast US. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Hydrogeologist and Safety Manager at URS and various geological positions at organizations including Geologic Services Corporation and Remediation Technologies, Inc. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Northeastern University, attended from 1991 to 1993, and graduated from Liverpool High School in 1984.
