Ron Collier

Ron Collier has over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Ron started their career as a Staff Recruiter at Gravity Climbing Gym in 2010. Ron then took on roles as a Recruitment Coordinator at Golden Horseshoe Green Tech and a Recruitment Specialist at Fitzii before becoming a Senior Recruitment Team Lead at Fitzii in 2017. In 2020, they continued their career as a Talent Acquisition Lead at SLR Consulting, where they are responsible for sourcing, connecting, and hiring professionals across the industry. Ron also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at McMaster University from 2004 to 2013, where they delivered course material and optimized the student learning experience.

Ron Collier has an educational background in History, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University in 2004, followed by a Master of Arts in 2005, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2013. In 2016, they also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Sheridan College. Additionally, Ron obtained a certification in First Aid/CPR-C from the Red Cross in 2012.
