Tracey Laight

Tracey Laight is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in mineral resource evaluation and exploration. Currently serving as Principal Resource Geologist at SLR Consulting since February 2023, Tracey previously worked as an Independent Geological Consultant from May 2017 to February 2023, focusing on mineral resource evaluation and exploration. Prior tenure includes roles at SRK Consulting between October 2003 and December 2016 as Principal Geological Consultant and Senior Consultant, where project management, business development, and due diligence evaluations were key responsibilities. Tracey's experience also encompasses positions as Mine Geologist at Arcon Mines and Outokumpu, as well as a Geologist at CEMEX UK. Academically, Tracey holds a Master’s Degree in Mineral Resources from Cardiff University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Geology from Oxford Brookes University.
