Michael Slevin

Michael Slevin is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in resource geology and mining operations. Currently serving as Principal Resource Geologist at Pilbara Minerals Limited since May 2023, Slevin previously held the position of Geology Manager at Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd, where leadership involved managing geology functions for a joint venture and overseeing the Earl Grey Lithium Resource update. Prior roles include Geology Manager at Karora Resources, where Slevin expanded the geology team significantly, and Geology Superintendent at Westgold Resources, with a focus on enhancing departmental performance. Slevin began a career in geology with a degree from The University of Manchester and has developed expertise in resource estimation, grade control, and operational improvements across various mining environments.
