Anna Phelps

Anna Phelps is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Technical Development Supervisor at SM Energy Company since September 2015. In this role, Anna manages new hire technical development programs and college recruiting efforts while enhancing training initiatives. Previous positions at SM Energy include Senior Geologist for Reservoir Characterization and Rock Ridge Development in the Permian Basin, where Anna improved well performance predictions and led significant geoscience programs. Anna's background includes a Master’s Degree in Geology from the University of Montana and a Bachelor's Degree from Colorado College, supplemented by internships at Apache Corporation and ConocoPhillips.
