Cynthia L. Bennett

Cynthia L. Bennett is a seasoned landman with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Landman at SM Energy Company since October 2012, focusing on Exploration and New Ventures. Prior to this role, Cynthia held similar positions at Apache Corporation and Sharp Image Energy, specializing in the Midland Basin and South Permian regions. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Landman at Nadel & Gussman Permian and managing minerals and leasehold at J. Hiram Moore, Ltd./Moore Minerals. Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Texas Tech University between 1978 and 1983.
