Nena Kogiou

Nena Kogiou has a diverse work experience primarily focused on project management in the energy storage industry. Nena worked at SMA Altenso GmbH as a Lead Project Manager - Energy Storage since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at SMA Sunbelt GmbH from August 2021 to November 2022, where they also worked as a Project Manager - Energy Storage from September 2021 to August 2022. From July 2017 to August 2021, Nena worked as a Project Manager - Energy Storage at SMA Solar UK Ltd. Before that, they were a Project Manager - Energy Storage at Origami Energy from October 2016 to June 2017. Nena gained experience in renewable resources as the Head of North Engineering Office at Renewable Resources from April 2012 to February 2014, and as an Electrical Engineer & Photovoltaic Designer from November 2010 to April 2012. Nena also has experience as a Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer at Conergy UK Ltd from January 2015 to September 2016 and from February 2014 to January 2015, respectively. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Dionisos from August 2000 to April 2009. Nena started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Egnatia Odos S.A. from March 2008 to July 2008, and as an ADSL Customer Service Assistant at OTE from March 2007 to February 2008. Nena briefly worked as a Customer Service Specialist at the International Film Festival, Thessaloniki in November 2007.

Nena Kogiou obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2000 and 2008. Later, they pursued an MSc degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh between 2009 and 2010. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in fields such as AutoCAD, energy efficiency, renewable energy, project management, and site safety.
