Lawrence Shaw

Lawrence Shaw is an experienced professional in the solar energy sector, currently serving as the Service Performance Engineering Manager at SMA America since October 2021, following roles as an O&M Performance Engineer and O&M Business Analyst. Prior to this, Lawrence held the position of Chief Solar Systems Engineer at Higher Powered, LLC from March 2017 to September 2021. Experience also includes roles at NRG Energy as Senior O&M Analyst - C&I Solar and O&M Analyst - C&I Solar from March 2014 to March 2017, and as a Field Service Engineer - Solar Inverters at ABB. Earlier career experience includes an apprenticeship in PV Solar System Design and Optimization at High Performance PV and military service as a Nuclear Electrician in the United States Navy. Lawrence holds a Master’s degree in Solar Energy Engineering and Commercialization from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University.
