Marc Nerius has a strong background in marketing and communications. Marc is currently the Marketing Director at SMA America, where they overseas all aspects of marketing, communication, government relations, and the Solar Academy. Prior to this, they served as the Marketing and Communications Manager for HM.CLAUSE and the Area Marketing Manager for Brown and Caldwell. Marc also has experience as the Director of Marketing at Siegfried and as the Marketing Manager for RMB Architects + Engineers. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director of Marketing for California Family Fitness. Throughout their various roles, Marc has successfully led strategic marketing efforts, developed comprehensive campaigns, and contributed to company growth and brand awareness.
Marc Nerius holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Tampa. In 2017, they completed a Continuing Studies program in Data-Driven Marketing at Stanford University. In 2018, they pursued further education at Stanford University through Continuing Studies programs in Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Marc has also obtained various certifications, including the Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) from the Digital Marketing Institute and the Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) in Digital Marketing from the American Marketing Association. Additionally, they have completed courses such as "Marketing Foundations: Customer Segmentation" on Lynda.com and "Google Analytics for Beginners" and "Advanced Google Analytics" through Google.
