Mike Hoover, PMP, has extensive project management experience across various industries, notably in renewable energy and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Customer Project Manager at SMA America since June 2020, Mike oversees the delivery of inverters and medium-voltage stations for complex utility-scale projects globally. Previously, Mike held positions such as Project Manager at D3 LED, managing custom LED display systems, and Project Engineer at KIBOWORKS, focusing on LED system design and commissioning. Mike's background includes managing utility-scale solar power projects at SMA-America and notable LED projects at Lighting Science Group Corporation, including the Times Square Ball. Mike's career began in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, followed by roles in engineering and project management at Coherent, Inc. and All Weather, Inc. Mike holds a BSEE in Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
