SMA Healthcare is proud to be a leader of behavioral healthcare services in our communities.  SMA serves Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns Counties and has over 50 years of experience in the industry.  SMA provides a full continuum of exceptional and comprehensive services for individuals suffering from mental illness and/or addiction.  Services include our Access Center 24/7 for information and referral, crisis services, detoxification, outpatient and residential services, supporting housing, prevention programs and community outreach and education.  

SMA’s services are provided by a group of compassionate and committed professionals, using evidence-based treatment practices and models.  The agency is led by a dedicated and professional executive management team, as well as an engaged volunteer Board of Directors.  Our governing Board consists of a large group of individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise and a passion for helping those in our communities.

The Behavioral Health and Community Support team at SMA Healthcare provides critical services to individuals suffering from mental illness and/or addiction within the community. This dedicated team offers a range of support including client care coordination, electronic monitoring, and direct behavioral health interventions. They deliver comprehensive care through assertive community treatment, counseling, medical assistance, and community outreach. The team utilizes evidence-based practices to ensure effective and compassionate service delivery to improve the well-being of the individuals they serve.
