Bharathi Pandi

Bharathi Pandi is a seasoned professional in the field of organic chemistry with extensive experience in medicinal and process chemistry. Currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of SmaBio Labs since October 2023, Bharathi has played a vital role in providing services related to medicinal chemistry and formulation development. Prior roles include Director of Molecular Research at TyraTech, Inc. and Principal Scientist at Integrated Laboratory Solutions, where Bharathi focused on the design and development of novel cannabinoid-based therapies. Previous experience encompasses a Senior Research Scientist position at Cambrex, where Bharathi contributed to drug discovery for external parasites and pain treatment, as well as a role at Avista Pharma Solutions involving animal health drug discovery. Bharathi's academic credentials include postdoctoral work in organic chemistry at both North Carolina State University and Tulane University.
