Oriol Palau Requena has a diverse work experience in various companies. Oriol worked as a Data Scientist at Smadex starting from February 2019. Prior to that, from January 2015 to January 2019, they served as a Management Consultant at Accenture España. Oriol also worked as a Visiting Associate at The Boston Consulting Group for a brief period in September and October 2014. Additionally, they gained practical experience through a Summer Internship at Instal·lacions Industrials Fagom, S.L. in July and August 2013.
Oriol Palau Requena completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2009 and 2014, with a specialization in Management. In 2014, they pursued their Master's Thesis in Industrial Management at Ghent University. In addition to their formal education, Oriol has obtained several certifications, including R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera in June 2018, as well as Operations Analytics and Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2018 and May 2016 respectively.
