Miki Korhonen

Game Designer at Small Giant Games

Miki Korhonen has a diverse work experience. They started as an Editor for What's Up Finland in 2012, where they translated and wrote English news content. In 2013, Miki worked as a Finnish Civilian Service Office Assistant at Taiteen edistämisakeskus, handling various administrative tasks. They then worked as a Project Lead and Game Designer at Rising Cut from 2016 to 2018, focusing on team management, communication, and core game mechanics. From 2016 to 2018, Miki also worked as a Personal Trainer, supporting clients in achieving their fitness goals. In 2018, they became a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach at Kymen Aktiivikuntoutus Oy, working with a wide range of clients. From 2020 to 2022, Miki held multiple roles at Selkrig Performance Unit, including Director of Coaching and Operations Manager, Product Manager, and ultimately, Operations Manager. Currently, Miki is a Junior Game Designer at Small Giant Games.

Miki Korhonen's education history begins in 2005 when they started attending The English School in Helsinki, Finland, where they completed a high school equivalence certificate program until 2009. Following their high school education, from 2015 to 2018, Miki attended Helsinki Vocational College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Games and Programming Skills.
