Tomi Porkka

Tomi Porkka has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Their most recent position is as a QA Specialist at Small Giant Games since April 2021. Prior to that, from April 2017 to April 2021, they worked as a Sound Designer. Tomi was responsible for sound design, dialogue design, audio implementation, and co-creative direction at Barracuda Disaster, where they also served as a Game Designer and Co-Founder. During their time there, they worked on the development of Flip the Table and Solar Panic: Utter Distress, which were both commercially released on PC. Tomi also had additional responsibilities in marketing, social media, pitching, and company management. Before that, from August 2016 to March 2021, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist, Sales, and Marketing at Business Performance Finland Oy, where they developed, designed, and managed users for Digital Business Tools, a digital service for companies. Tomi was also involved in sales and marketing of the service.

Tomi Porkka pursued their education from 2016 to 2020 at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a specialization in Information and Communication Technology.
