Steve Burks

Steve Burks is currently the Communications Manager at Small Giants. Previously, Steve held the position of Associate Editor at AZ BIG Media with a focus on AZRE Magazine. Prior to that, Steve was the Inside News Editor at Independent Newsmedia, where Steve was responsible for compiling, editing, and formatting information for weekly publications. Steve also worked as a Sports Writer/Editor at East Valley Tribune for over a decade, managing various responsibilities such as writing, editing, coordinating with photographers, and designing sections. Steve's career in journalism started as a Sports Writer/Sports Editor at Yuma Daily Sun, where Steve managed a staff and oversaw the sports department. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
