Mexico Country Director at Smaller Earth

Ingrid Fuentes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ingrid started their career at INTEC as an English Teacher, where they planned and developed English courses for children, teenagers, and adults. In 2010, they worked as a Kitchen Assistant at Camp Lakamaga for the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys. Ingrid also worked as an English Teacher at DEPSI during the same year. Ingrid joined Smaller Earth in 2010 as a Team Member for Camp Leaders and later became the Mexico Country Director, overseeing the operations and programs in the country. Ingrid also held the position of Director at Smaller Earth from 2013 to 2015. In 2011, they served as the Ropes Director at Steve and Shari Sadek Family Camp Interlaken JCC, where they planned and supervised activities for children and teenagers. In 2013, they worked as the Ropes Head Specialist at Camp Echo Lake. Throughout their career, Ingrid has gained experience in leadership, program management, teaching, and event planning.

Ingrid Fuentes pursued their education at Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla. From 2000 to 2005, they completed a Licenciatura en Cultura Fisica, specializing in Actividades Físicas para Poblaciones Especiales. Later, they pursued a Licenciatura en Lenguas Modernas with a concentration in English Language Teaching from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their academic degrees, they also obtained two certifications in April 2021, titled "Cómo gestionar el enfado en la clientela" and "Cómo trabajar con clientes enfadados," from LinkedIn.
