Lauren Nagys has a diverse work experience in marketing and sales coordination. Lauren started their career as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator at Landscape Concepts Management from 2010 to 2012, where they managed and coordinated association memberships, corporate events, and promotional materials. Lauren then worked as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at AMCOL International from 2012 to 2013, where they supported marketing and sales efforts in developing environmental and health & beauty products. Lauren then became the Global Marketing Manager for AMCOL's CETCO Business Unit from 2013 to 2014, focusing on innovative product development. Lauren later joined Sears Holdings Corporation in 2014 as a Digital Marketing Manager for their Commercial Business Unit, responsible for driving digital marketing and omni-channel initiatives. Currently, Lauren is the Director of Marketing at Smalley, leading the marketing team in developing international marketing programs and driving digital marketing strategies.
Lauren Nagys ☁️ has a diverse education history. In 2010, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a focus on Biochemistry at Northern Illinois University. Later, in 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
In 2023, Lauren enrolled in Northern Illinois University again, this time pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). As part of their studies, they focused on Principles of Operations Management, completing the first phase of their MBA program. Additionally, Lauren obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include Understanding and Prioritizing Data Privacy, Foundations of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Generative AI for Business Leaders, Leading with Empathy, Communicating in the Language of Leadership, and The Leader’s Guide to Mindfulness, all obtained through LinkedIn. Lauren also achieved the Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist certification in 2017 from Salesforce and completed Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie in 2016.
