Varija Nijor

Varija Nijor has a diverse range of work experience. Varija began their career as a Publishing Associate at Lekha Publishers, LLC from October 2011 to November 2013. Varija then worked as an Account Executive at Revamp Collaborative from March 2013 to January 2014. Varija further gained experience as a Marketing Specialist at San Jose State University from September 2013 to May 2014. After that, they joined Adobe as a Marketing Intern in the IT Department from May 2014 to June 2015, and later as a Project Manager in the same department from June 2015 to January 2018.

In 2018, they moved on to work as a Project Manager & Product Owner at Coin from January 2018 to August 2018. Varija was responsible for planning and releasing a platform prototype that raised $3M in funding. Varija also worked on quality assurance and security strategies for the startup's ICO.

Varija then joined Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager from August 2018 to November 2019. Following that, they worked at Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) as a Product Manager from November 2019 to August 2021, and as a Senior Product Manager from August 2021 to December 2021. In their role at TSIA, they steered the strategy and vision of three primary products, managed the digital portfolio and roadmap, and oversaw the development efforts.

Their most recent job was as a Senior Product Manager at Kiira Health, a venture-backed startup focused on increasing access to healthcare. Unfortunately, their role ended due to company-wide layoffs in February 2022.

Varija Nijor attended San Jose State University from 2011 to 2014, where they studied Public Relations. Varija did not obtain a degree during their time at San Jose State University. After that, they went on to enroll in Ashford University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. It is unclear when they started and ended their studies at Ashford University.

In addition to their formal education, Varija Nijor has obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they completed the Learn SQL Course from Codecademy. In September 2019, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In October 2019, they achieved the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. In March 2021, they completed the Aha! Academy - Aha! Roadmaps (professional) certification from Aha!. Lastly, in June 2018, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute.
