Gopal Ramanujam

Gopal Ramanujam has extensive work experience in product management and engineering roles. Gopal began their career at S R Associates India Pvt Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built the initial version of First Aid for Windows and a workflow management system called Life*FLOW. Gopal then moved to CyberMedia Inc., where they served as a Senior Engineer and Architect, creating patented technology for software repair and updating services.

After that, Gopal worked at Kron Networks as the Director of Web Technology, where they built Intouche, a unified communication solution for enterprises. Gopal joined Microsoft Corporation as a Program Manager, focusing on program management and strategy for the Remote Assistance feature in Windows. Following their time at Microsoft, Gopal worked at CoreObjects as the Director of Product Development for ClearVU, a SaaS platform for software project management.

In 2008, Gopal joined HP Software as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for product management and strategy for cloud archiving services. Gopal excelled in leadership roles through multiple acquisitions, leading to their role as a Consultant Product Manager at EMC. At EMC, Gopal led SourceOne for archiving, eDiscovery, and compliance, and developed innovative search and data protection products.

Most recently, Gopal has been at Smarsh, where they have held various positions including Director, Senior Director, and Vice President of Product Management. This experience showcases their leadership and expertise in product management and their ability to drive growth and innovation.

Gopal Ramanujam obtained an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2021. In 2020, they completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) in Executive Leadership at K1 Management. In 2009, they attended Stanford University for a course on Strategic Marketing of High Technology Products and Innovations. Gopal Ramanujam holds a B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering (IRTT), Bharathiar University, India, which they completed from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Financial Accounting from Babson College.
