Phillip Bax

Phillip Bax has a diverse range of work experience in the agricultural industry. Phillip is currently the Co-Founder/Agronomy Science Lead at Smart Agri Labs, where they focus on incorporating agronomy science into a data-sharing and analysis platform for farmers. Prior to this, they worked as an independent consultant and as an Agronomy Science Lead at Granular.

Phillip also has a long history with DuPont Pioneer, where they held various roles including Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Advancement Process Manager, and Field Sales Agronomist. In these positions, they contributed to the development and management of agricultural products, provided agronomic advice to growers, and conducted research trials.

Earlier in their career, Phillip worked as a Vocational Agriculture Instructor at Lake Mills Community Schools, where they were responsible for curriculum development, teaching, and advising the Future Farmers of America club.

Phillip Bax attended Iowa State University from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Teacher Education.
