Edsel Espada

Edsel Espada is a Senior Network Supervisor at Smart Communications, Inc. since October 2013, leading engineering objectives for transport projects that optimize capacity, enhance network performance, and build infrastructure resilience. Previously, Edsel held managerial roles at Digitel Mobile Inc., overseeing the execution of engineering strategies for SUN Cellular's nationwide backbone network and strategic planning. Edsel's early career at NEC Corporation included various engineering roles, such as Lead Project Engineer for SDH transport projects and Telecom Design Support Engineer for major oil/gas infrastructure projects in multiple countries. Edsel commenced a career in engineering as a Supervisor at Epson Philippines Corporation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapúa University.
