Carlos Mendez

Carlos Mendez has a diverse work experience in various industries. Carlos is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships, EMEA at Smart Communications, a technology company that specializes in personalized and omnichannel customer conversations. Prior to that, they served as the UK Country Head at Tessi, a software reseller and system integrator, where they focused on improving customer experience through professional services and technology. Carlos also had experience as a business development and strategic partner at Tessi. Before their time at Tessi, they owned an eCommerce business called stockplenty, where they conducted over 1,000 customer transactions worldwide. Carlos also worked as a Client Director EMEA at Aon plc, providing risk management solutions and consultancy services to financial services companies. Carlos began their career at CII, an awarding body for the insurance and financial services industry, where they served as a Business Analyst and Forecasting and Planning Manager, implementing financial planning models and improving efficiency through automation.

Carlos Mendez completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Carlos also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Leviton Certified Cabling System from Leviton Security & Automation and a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
