Vincent Valderrama

Vincent Valderrama is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in design and product development. Currently serving as Engineering Director at Smart Design since April 2014, Vincent has previously held roles including Associate Engineering Director and Senior Design Engineer within the same company. In addition to this role, Vincent hosts the Epicurious YouTube series, Tried and Tested, where comparisons of high-end kitchen appliances to budget alternatives are presented. As a self-employed expert witness since August 2015, Vincent provides consultation and testimony on intellectual property matters related to infant care products. Prior experience includes positions at Energizer Holdings from January 2006 to April 2014, and as a Design Engineer at Watermark Design Ltd. from August 2004 to January 2006. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a certificate in Plastic Part Design for Injection Molding from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
