Christian Rivera

Christian Rivera has been in the healthcare industry since 2012, starting with a role as a Medico Residente Cuidados Críticos at the Hospital Central de la Fuerza Aerea del Perú. In 2012, they also took on a role as a Médico evaluador a domicilio at Clínica Internacional. In 2015, Rivera took on two roles, as a Strategic Sales Advisor at MedCare Salud Ocupacinal and as a Médico Neurointensivista en Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen at EsSalud. In 2018, they became the CEO of Smart Doctor, a technological health platform operating in Peru, Colombia, and Mexico. At Smart Doctor, Rivera is responsible for improving Latin American access to healthcare through secure, reliable, and efficient systems utilizing technology such as blockchain, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence.

Christian Rivera attended Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a degree in Médico Intensivista with a field of study in Residencia en Medicina de cuidados intensivos. Prior to that, they attended Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego from 2004 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Médico Cirujano.
