Angela Strickland

Angela Strickland serves as the Chief Experience Officer at Smart Electric Power Alliance since September 2025. Prior to this role, Angela held the position of Senior Vice President of Business and Technology Strategies at NRECA, where strategic leadership was provided for various programs supporting electric cooperatives. Angela's career includes significant positions at GDS Associates, ICF, Southern Company, Gulf Power, and Georgia Power, where accomplishments ranged from driving innovation in energy solutions to achieving energy efficiency goals. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
